Dear Journal, 1/6/13

Dear Journal,
Q: Today was tough because __________.
A: Today was tough because I am sore and tired from running the half marathon last night. The half marathon ended after midnight, so we didn't get back to the hotel room until around one in the morning. It was quite exhausting to unwind after all of the energy drinks and after running for over 3 hours.

After getting home today all I wanted to do was lay on the couch. But being a mom means there are other things that need to get done first. Thankfully now I am able to go lay down and relax for the rest of the evening.
