3: stay [LISTEN]
How did you stay in the moment this year?
The first thing that comes to mind with this prompt is my wedding. So many people tell you that the day just flies by, and I agree with them 100%. At the same time, Patrick and I were able to take a step back and look at all of our family and friends and appreciate how lucky we are in life.
I believe that it's important to make that conscious effort to take the time to appreciate the things you have. Without our friends and family we wouldn't have had such a wonderful celebration of our marriage. We wouldn't have been surrounded by the people we love the most in life as we exchanged our vows.
We stayed in the moment by appreciating it.
