I am Team T-Rex

There are many blogs that I enjoy reading. Some, I have no idea how I came across them, most I came across via the Weight Watchers message boards.

There is one in particular that I came across during my marathon training. I would say I've been following this blog for almost a year. It's inspiring to me and I wish I had the courage (and money) to do what she has already accomplished.

The T-Rex Runner is a blog about a runners marathon journey through all 50 states. It's amazing.

Although this is something I will never be able to do, I love reading her race recaps. In support of her and her goal I was lucky enough to be the first to purchase a Team T-Rex t-shirt. Sorry I'm not Sorry I was the first.

Getting ready for my first run in over 20 days.

The best part of receiving the shirt was this...

An amazingly thoughtful handwritten note.

Thank you Danielle for your blog and for your amazing goal. It makes my goals seem obtainable and I admit to thinking on more than one occasion during a long run that if you can finish the amount of marathons you have, then I can get through one training run.

  1. BAH I haven't had internet all weekend and I just saw this! Girl, you are the best! This made my morning. First of all, you look fantastic in that shirt. I hope you liked running in it!

It's so nice of you to say that my blog inspires you, because I don't really think I am terribly inspirational. In fact, a lot of my motivation comes from reading other people's blogs too! In fact, while attempting to do one-legged squats while cooking dinner the other day, I found myself thinking about YOU and how you did the 30 day shred for a whole month, so clearly I could make it through some stupid squats. This is what I love about the blogging/running community - we are all inspiring each other, no matter what level we are.

CONGRATULATIONS one more time on your wedding! I will return to stalking all of your posts about it now. I hope we get to run together soon!
