I started this project a while ago when I saw something similar on pinterest. I started with full force and then the excitement of the project was lost among day to day life. This weekend I finally decided to finish it.
I wanted to do something in the kids room to make it feel more at home. I bought wood letters, clothspins and a nine block canvas:
And turned it into:
It didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted, but I think it's cute and gives the kids a place to hang their pictures or art or whatever without having to add holes to the wall.
